Bain & Company, Facebook and In-N-Out Burger have the CEOs with the highest approval ratings by their employees, new research shows.

At the top of the heap is Bob Bechek, CEO of Bain, with a 99% score, based on anonymous feedback from employees at the company who admire him and his leadership of the company.

Mark Zuckerberg received a 98% rating, while Lynsi Snyder of In-N-Out Burger was given a 96% approval rating.

Rounding out the top 5 are Google's Sundar Pichai at 96% and Rich Lesser of Boston Consulting Group at a 94% ranking.

The CEOs have at least two things in common. They “are very good at hearing feedback and implementing the right changes,” said Scott Dobroski, head of the awards program at Glassdoor, which released the names to FierceCEO.

Having sharp leaders can also help “with retention and equate to better financial and business performance,” Dobroski said.

The CEO statistics were culled from Glassdoor’s survey of the best 100 companies to work for. They are based on such metrics as opportunities, culture, values and the quality of senior management, as viewed by staff.

The five top companies in order of ranking are:

  • Facebook
  • Bain & Company
  • Boston Consulting Group
  • In-N-Out Burger
  • Google

"Employers where employees love to work continue to prove that they have a recruiting and business performance advantage,” said Robert Hohman, Glassdoor CEO.
